Are you interested in attending RPI and want to see campus at your own pace? We invite you to take our location-enabled, self-guided tour!
Our self-guided tour is a link to a location-enabled Google map. It includes a route to 21 locations on campus (which mimics our guided tour) and walking paths to each location. At each stop, you can hear an audio description and see photos and videos to learn even more.
- Sign up online to tell us you’re coming, or stop by the Fitzroy Admissions Building when you are here. By signing up, you will receive a parking pass for the lots near the Admissions building (the Admissions parking lot or Sherry Road lot) AND a coupon for our campus store, located in the Rensselaer Student Union (just across the street from the admissions building!).
- Once you are on campus, use this link on your mobile device to access the tour map.
- Allow “youvisit.com” to access your location. Turn your ringer on and turn your volume up!

Please use your best judgment regarding the paths you take while touring campus and follow all pedestrian and traffic laws.
Please note that RPI is a tobacco-free campus, and with the exception of service animals, pets are not allowed to be inside university buildings or tied up outside. All pets must be on a leash in outdoor areas.
